The Supporters Club was formed many years ago and is dedicated to raising funds for the club as well as serving the interests of our members. For many years we funded the team’s travel to away league fixtures and we now pay for the training facilities at Filton College, along with other contributions towards wages and other costs when we are able.
Income for this comes from members’ subscriptions, the Matchday Draw, online draws, Easyfundraising, the Supporters Club Tea Bar and Shop.
The Supporters Club organises coach travel to away fixtures and newcomers are promised a warm welcome. Details are advertised in the club’s newsletter as well as in the matchday programme, over the tannoy, in the Chronicle, on social media, in regular emails to members and on the online forum.
Supporters Club memberships are now on sale, running from 1 August until 31 July, costing £12 adults, £10 students and concessions, and free for children. The benefits of joining include:
- 10% discount on all club merchandise purchased from the HQ on match days
- Discounted travel on the supporters coaches
- Opportunity to attend and raise issues at the Supporters Club AGM
- The feeling that you are making a real contribution to the continued success of our football club!
On matchdays the Supporters Club is based at its HQ in the corner of the ground near the Mo-B-Q hut.
